Adios, folks. Rebecca and I are off in the morning to Nepal, where I’d count it one of my peak life experiences to see one of these in the wild:
Realistically, that’s about as likely as Don Brash performing a haka for Queen Elizabeth – but I dunno… sometimes I think I was kind of born lucky. And hey, I’m not going to spot a snow leopard by hanging around in Ponsonby.
Huge thanks by the way to the amazing photographer Amos Chappel who has loaned me a great camera for the trip. Seriously, thanks Amos.
Everyone else – have a great few months, and we’ll see you in the spring. I’m taking a laptop (ahem – thanks Mac as well!) so I’ll try to update from the trail – though it’ll surely be intermittent.
Later slaters
Have an amazing time.
And if you see a snow leopard, please don’t shoot it! ;o)
